About The Role

Play a vital role as the Practice Nurse Team Leader at this busy clinic. As a trusted member of your community, you will oversee a team of dedicated nurses, complete necessary admin, and ensure a patient-centred approach to support the health and wellbeing of your community.

Remuneration And Benefits

Earn $51-54 / hr depending on experience
Monday to Friday position working 4-5 days a week (0.8 FTE)
No afterhours to promote work / life balance

Duties And Responsibilities

Provide support and leadership to a team of nurses and streamline operations

Triage patients and deliver high quality care to achieve identified outcomes

Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate & coordinate care

Maintain detailed and compliant patient records

Support the growth and development of the nursing team

Engage proactively in continuous improvement programs

What You Need To Be Successful

NZ Registered Nurse with current APC, authorised vaccinator and cervical smear taker

Primary health or general practice exposure in New Zealand

Be confident in using technology and medical record keeping systems

Demonstrated understanding of healthcare standards and regulatory frameworks

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Serve as the primary point of contact, guiding and mentoring your team while fostering professional growth and collaboration.
