The laboratory processed over 30,000 samples last year, many dealing with life threating and life changing bleeding and thrombotic disorders. The laboratory provides assays that are nationally required for non-accidental injury screening. A single LIMS solution will go live across the network in the next 12-18 months, and procurement for a Kent and Medway managed service contract is concluding in 2025.
