About the role
As the
Team Lead - Allied Health and Outpatients
, you will provide day-to-day leadership and operational management for the allied health and outpatient teams. Your focus will be on delivering a sustainable, high-quality service that supports organisational goals. You will lead service delivery improvements, promote interdisciplinary care models, and support professional development within the team. Collaborating closely with clinical coordinators, nursing managers, and specialist modalities, you will ensure staff are well-supported to provide patient-centred care. You will also oversee referral and waitlist management, staff rostering, and represent the team at leadership forums to contribute to strategic planning and service development..
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring the following :
A relevant graduate qualification and current APC in an allied health discipline
Minimum five years' clinical experience, with at least three years in a relevant coordination or leadership role
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams
Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in practice
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage referrals, waitlists, and staff rosters efficiently
Commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and continuous improvement
Desired : Post-graduate qualification and prior leadership experience
