About the role
We are seeking a Senior Bullion Services Specialist to join our Retail Bullion team. This role combines technical product expertise with exceptional customer service and relationship management. You will work closely with high-value clients, providing accurate product information and tailored guidance, managing accounts via CRM, and ensuring secure handling and delivery of physical bullion.
This position is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a premium service experience.
- Educate customers on bullion products and services offered by New Zealand Mint
- Provide recommendations and proactive guidance to clients on bullion products, pricing, and storage options.
- Manage leads and accounts through CRM, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate records.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate secure delivery or vault storage.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; report insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with Secondhand Dealers & Pawnbrokers Act requirements.
- Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to manage inventory, customer pickups, and vault access procedures.
- Contribute to projects aimed at customer and sales process improvement, system implementation, or initiatives to support growth.
Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in bullion sales with a strong customer service focus. This is not an entry level role.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems and Microsoft Office.Highly organised and detail-oriented. Comfortable with multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.Current Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Certificate is highly desirable.Exposure to financial or investment services.Interest in and knowledge of precious metals or collectibles is non-negotiable as they form a core part of our services.Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or similar is desirable.This role requires a polished, professional appearance and strong personal presentation skills.
