About the role
The core function of the Clients & Industries team is to build internal relationships, support partners and people in generating pipeline, improving win rates, and taking new products to market.
As a coach and advisor to Sector Leads and Client Relationship Partners, you will drive business development and account management across sectors.
Responsibilities
Work with account and sector teams to deliver solutions that help clients realise opportunities.
Partner with sector lead partners to manage a sector portfolio, develop and execute annual business plans for revenue and relationship growth.
Coach, advise and develop account and sector teams on client development tactics and best practice to achieve account objectives.
Advise on key firm priorities, go-to-market propositions, products and pursuits.
Guide teams on formal RFP processes and best practice to hit pipeline objectives.
Leverage PwC's global sales framework (Pursuit) to coach stakeholders on complex bids, win strategy, value-proposition, pricing and proposal roadmaps.
Manage partner relationships to gain early insight into strategic market opportunities and pipeline.
Conduct client engagement feedback or debriefs on win / loss outcomes to capture lessons and share knowledge across Markets and the firm.
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years' business development and account management experience.
Experience advising on major sales strategies, priority accounts, bids and opportunities.
Degree qualified with relevant executive-level experience in B2B or professional services.
Excellent project / time-management and organisational skills – ability to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities.
Adaptability, influence and collaboration with diverse working styles in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines.
Strong people skills – building trust, credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders quickly.
Team player with a track record of collaborating in multidisciplinary sales and marketing communications teams.
Excellent communication skills – speaking, writing, editing, using graphics and communication tools, confident in front of large groups, assertive yet diplomatic.
Ability to coach teams effectively in challenging sales situations, including presentation coaching techniques.
Effective prioritisation and juggling of multiple competing requirements from development to execution.
