Ready to charge up your career and lead our Palmerston North workshop? Our workshop is seeking a hands-on Foreman or experienced senior mechanic to lead our small workshop team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our diverse fleet of buses and coaches (including cutting-edge EVs) are road-ready and running smoothly for daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small workshop team as a Foreman or senior mechanic, ensuring the fleet is road-ready and maintained for daily operations.
 - Hands-on fault diagnosis and repair across a diverse fleet including EVs and traditional diesel systems.
 - Maintain a tidy, well-organised workshop and manage admin tasks related to payroll and fleet systems.
 - Collaborate with a tight-knit team and communicate effectively; mentor / train others as needed.
 
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic with fault diagnosis and repair skills.Previous leadership experience or readiness to step up; clear communicator, experienced in mentoring / training, confident in leading a team.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workshop admin tasks and fleet systems.Team player mindset and collaborative approach.Whats on offer
