Overview
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Roading Construction Senior Project Manager to join our Green Team in Hamilton.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a diverse role where you will be working on multiple projects up to the value of $30m and will play an integral part in everything right from tender through to delivery.
You'll also be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team of Graduate, Site and Project Engineers.
Depending on the project, your team can range between 5-15 people.
What you'll do
Lead and manage multiple roading and civil projects up to $30m, from tender through delivery.
Provide day-to-day leadership of the team of Graduate, Site and Project Engineers (typically 5–15 people).
Collaborate with project stakeholders and maintain strong customer relationships.
What you'll bring
Extensive proven experience successfully managing roading and civils projects of 10m+
Experience with New Zealand construction contracts such as 3910 and 3916
Experience managing construction teams, designers and forging strong customer relationships
Experience leading a bid team and providing detailed information to assist estimators
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
Proven understanding of project management best practice, tools, techniques, market trends and product innovation
Critical thinking, analysis, problem solving and effective decision-making
