Job description

Develop, implement, and monitor pricing, inventory and sales strategies to optimise occupancy and RevPAR.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly forecasts, variance analyses and management reports.

Oversee OTAs, GDS, brand website and channel managers to ensure rate parity and availability.

Monitor competitor pricing, market trends and demand patterns to identify revenue opportunities.

Manage room categories, overbooking strategy and inventory to maximise yield and resolve overbooking situations.

Work closely with Sales & Marketing and Operations to align promotions, packages and corporate offers with revenue strategy.

Ensure reservation processes, upselling and service recovery support revenue goals and deliver excellent guest service.

Maintain PMS, channel manager and OTA extranets; ensure correct configurations and data accuracy.

Analyse booking patterns, no-shows and cancellations; review reservation reports and recommend operational improvements.

Support budget forecasting, control departmental costs and drive productivity and innovation in revenue operations.

Oversee manpower and work allocation of the department to ensure operational efficiency.

Train, coach and supervise the reservations / revenue team to achieve departmental KPIs and foster open communication.

  • Implement upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue per booking.

Handle VIP, group, and special event reservations in coordination with other departments.

Skills Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in revenue and reservation management in hotels.

Proven expertise with PMS (Shiji Cambridge / Opera or similar), channel managers (D-edge, etc.) and OTA extranets.

Advanced Excel and forecasting skills; strong numerical and analytical ability.

Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan).

Able to develop team’s talent through regular coaching, training and career planning.

Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure and drive results.

Strong commercial mindset with experience collaborating with sales and revenue teams.
