Who We're looking For

We’re after 3 motivated Stainless Steel Welders / Metal Fabricators who are passionate about solving problems and building high-quality work.

The roles are based in Wanaka and are offered on a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week), permanent basis between 7am to 5pm Monday-Thursday – 4-day week!

About this Role

The Stainless Steel Welder / Metal Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components to engineering specifications. The role requires strong technical knowledge of welding processes, metalworking equipment, and fabrication techniques.

K ey Duties & Responsibilities

1. Fabrication & Assembly

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, workshop sketches, and technical specifications
• Measure, mark out, cut, and shape metal using saws, guillotines, grinders, flame cutters, and plasma cutters
• Fabricate metal structures, frameworks, beams, brackets, and custom components
• Assemble components using jigs and fixtures ensuring correct alignment and tolerances
