What are we looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to work at our

Royal New Zealand Air Force Base site in Whenuapai

, Auckland.

Hours of work are

Permanent Full Time, 30 hours per week

, rostered across 7 days - you will need to be flexible.

Our Ideal team member

You will have at least 3 years in industrial high volume kitchens

You will be able to work unsupervised and supervise a small team of staff

Will have had trade training in catering as well as completed a Food Hygiene course

Knowledge of all general kitchen activities

What you will be doing

In this position you will

Ensure the quality of every dish we serve

Prepare, cook and serve food for a buffet, a cook to order menu, and functions as required

Being a good all-rounder in the kitchen is a must

Also be assisting with stock take, and general kitchen and cleaning duties
