Te Kāpehu Whetū is a kura in Whangārei dedicated to empowering ākonga to confidently navigate their futures as Māori, educated, and rangatira. Our kaupapa Māori is grounded in Te Reo Māori and Tikanga, guiding our students to succeed in all aspects of life.
We are seeking a passionate, qualified pouako putaiao (science teacher) to join our team. In this role, you will teach a diverse range of students from Y9 to 13, developing and delivering science lessons aligned with NCEA standards and our kaupapa Māori. You will create engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity and scientific thinking.
This role offers the potential to teach across two sites (Whangārei and Auckland) for a couple of days each week, extending the reach of our educational impact.
