That means the home is often a hive of activity with residents and visitors enjoying spending time together around the spacious home.Mo te turanga - About the roleAs a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our residents in their daily living and social requirements.

You will also encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselves.ResponsibilitiesDeliver the highest standard of personalised care to every ResidentSupport and encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselvesAssist and support the activities of daily living in a way that meets the Eden principles and the Domains of WellbeingTake instruction and tasks from the Registered NurseEnsure resident's needs are attended to effectively and in a timely mannerAbout YouAs well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills.

You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.

In addition, you will have : Previous experience in aged care or other healthcare assistant or support worker roleWillingness to gain Qualifications whilst you workAbility to be an active member of a team environmentGood verbal communication and documentation skillsBasic computer skillsBenefits and opportunitiesA progressive pay scale that recognises your qualifications $
