We are seeking an experienced and dedicated learning support coordinator (LSC) to join our Te Au o Tamatea – St Andrews Middle School whānau. This is a permanent part-time position working one day per week (0.2). As our LSC, you'll be key in ensuring all learners receive appropriate support and enhancing overall learning progress. This role requires you to influence school-wide systems and lift capability in meeting diverse student needs.

• Learners : Support learners by understanding their needs and providing timely, culturally responsive support so they can thrive, belong and progress in all aspects of school life.
• Kaiako (teachers and teacher aides) : Lift capability to better meet the needs of learners and to strengthen their connections with learning services.
• Parents and whānau : Encourage parents and whānau to partner successfully with their school and develop understanding of learning support processes and who to contact if needed.
• Other LSCs, Ministry staff, and wider agencies : Access services and resources to support learners.
• School leadership team : Influence others to ensure all learners receive appropriate support to enhance their learning and progress.
