    • We are looking for a Senior Business Development Advisor to join our Clients and Markets team.
    • Reporting to the Regional BD Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Southern Regional Manager, Client Leaders, Market leaders, and Client teams, as well as our Marketing and Business Development team members around New Zealand and Australia.

      It's a team that works hard while staying true to our values of partnership, tenacity, enjoyment and care.A key focus of this role is promoting business development best practice.

      You will be a confident presenter, facilitator and coach whom our local staff will look to as a credible source of guidance and support.

      You will also be responsible for managing pursuits and bids, which includes preparing and reviewing written technical information and the coordination of people.

      Your proactive attitude and strong commercial acumen will position you as a key advisor to the Regional Manager and Southern Leadership Team.Based in our Christchurch office, we are looking for someone to add strategic value across the multiple geographies our Southern business operates in, including Dunedin, Queenstown and Central Otago.

      You'll lead business development initiatives and activities that build a market profile, strengthen client relationships, and ultimately continue the success of our South Island business.

    • We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Business Development professional who is looking for their next challenge.
    • The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes :

    • Be tenacious, confident and a collaborative team player with a positive and proactive approach
    • Have a commercial understanding of private sector business
    • Exceptional facilitation, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability in promoting growth and executing our market strategies by implementing tactical plans at the regional level.
    • Be up to date with market trends and proactively seek information to keep the business informed
    • Understand and have experience in professional services and / or the engineering / construction industries
    • Consistently delivers work on time and organises tasks to meet regional needs.
    • An understanding of the client perspective
    • Ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders both internally and externallyAn understanding of the client perspective and have experience in implementing the clients' voice into business activity and growth strategies.
