Culture & Capability PartnerMeridian Energy – Aotearoa's largest renewable electricity producer, generating power from 100% renewable sources—wind, water, and sun.Join our team as a Culture & Capability Partner who leads with humility, curiosity, and a growth mindset.What you'll be doingChampioning Meridian's world-class culture by designing and delivering people-focused solutions that elevate capability, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, and the overall employee experience.Building strong, collaborative relationships across the business, especially with our Strategic People Partners and the wider People Team to ensure our initiatives amplify Meridian's people strategies.Diagnosing root causes, assessing team dynamics, and supporting the business to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.Leading interventions such as team-building workshops, coaching, conflict resolution, learning experiences, and capability-building initiatives.Enabling change through effective change management strategies, stakeholder engagement, and feedback loops.Developing talent solutions for long-term success, supporting the leadership employee life cycle processes, and aligning development with our leadership commitments framework.Promoting a thriving, inclusive culture by championing key People Team strategies including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, health and safety, and te ao Maori.Facilitating learning and development initiatives—virtually and in person—and turning insights into action through analysis of employee survey results.What you'll bringYou bring a growth mindset and a flexible, solutions-focused approach to challenges and opportunities, with a passion for making a real impact.You thrive in partnership, leaning in to work with the business and the People Team to deliver impactful development solutions.You have a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle and know how to influence each stage to build a thriving, future-ready culture.You believe in a non-hierarchical, ego-less culture, value transparency, empowerment, and trust in others.You're open to new ideas and value every voice, with a desire to develop ideas together in a collaborative way.Proven experience leading organisation-wide development initiatives, strong consulting skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.Deep understanding of performance, leadership, and capability development.What we can offer!
