What We Offer
- Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7 : 00am and 5 : 00pm in Hamilton

What You Bring
Solid management experience in an operation role within the Transport / Logistics industryPrevious experience in route planning and fleet managementPrevious experience within a sales or account management backgroundExperience with FME, Power BI reporting, E-road systemStrong analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong professional communication skills – written and verbalAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesSkilled with Microsoft Office suite, and confident using ExcelResponsibilities
Lead your Branch to safely deliver its profit and service commitments, ensuring resources are matched to revenue and budgeted profit is achieved while delivering customer service levelsParticipate in national improvement initiatives and demonstrate leadership and teamwork across the Fliway GroupIdentify opportunities to improve quality and safety through materials handling equipment and automationMaintain agreed performance levels for all customersDevelop new customers in conjunction with SalesComplete Claims Investigations and sign-off of Missing Freight ReportsEnsure all pickups, deliveries, customer collections and operational activities follow safe work practices; promote Health and SafetyOrganise and facilitate team meetings and toolbox sessions; ensure strong branch communicationAssess personal development requirements of key roles and peopleBuild team engagement and reduce turnover through active management of branch culture, in conjunction with H&S, HR and national initiativesDeliver on the budgeted profit and prepare the annual branch budgetMaximise revenue through correct charging, revenue initiatives, training and ongoing monitoring of revenues and billingWeekly review and analysis of financial reports; validate correctness and take corrective action as neededEnsure branch delivers defined KPIs and maintains legal compliance, safety, well-being and support of staffImplement and monitor performance management principles at branch levelSeek improvements in service, cost and operations; implement where agreedPlan, recommend, implement and monitor learning and development initiativesAny other duties as requested by managementRequirements & Eligibility
