Bricklayer

We are seeking for several motivated Bricklayers to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $

• depending on your experience and skill level.

You will be working in Auckland.

This role will be a permanent full- time position and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday but can be up to 50 hours weekly.

Paid weekly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave.

Candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully in NewZealand.

Key Responsibilities include :

Analyzing and interpreting building plans.

Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.

Measuring distance from reference points.

Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.

Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.

Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.

Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.

Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks

The successful candidate must have :

Minimum 2 years work experience in related field or level 4 relevant skills certificate

Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills

Regular and reliable attendance

Physically fit and able to handle the heavy workload

Quality workmanship and eye for detail

Commitment to health and workplace safety

Strong ability to work independently

Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
