Casual Cleaner - Ashburton Hospital

Ashburton Hospital * This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours or days. In this

role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave. You will need to be available

over Public Holidays and nights. Shifts start at 7am to 2pm and nights start at 4pm to 8.30pm * Time and a half on weekends! and double time on

Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department in this

part time cleaner role.

You will be

part of a small fast paced team that plays an essential part of maintaining

Ashburton Hospital Facilities. The team provides exceptional cleaning services

365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.

Salary - Starting rate $28.63 per hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement

You will be

responsible for :

Completing

all cleaning tasks to a high standard * Ensure

daily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frame * Working

alongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely

manner * Matching

service requirements to the clinical needs * Maintenance

of equipment and operated according to specifications * Utilise

the correct chemicals and dilutions We are

looking for a reliable, hard working and flexible candidate who is able to

bring their passion for cleaning to the Ashburton facility. This role will suit

a candidate that is looking to help make the Hospital and hygienic and safe

space for our patients and whanau.

as a cleaner, particularly within health is preferred but not essential.Full

training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
