We’re looking for a creative,social-media-savvy grad who loves telling great stories. Reporting to theCommunications and Engagement Manager, with day-to-day interaction with theMayoral office, as Communications Advisor you’ll help shape the Mayor’s onlinepresence and showcase the people, places and energy of Upper Hutt.

You’ll plan and post content across multiplechannels, write everything from captions to speeches, capture photos and videosat community events, and work closely with the Mayor’s office and the Comms& Engagement team.

No two days are the same — and your ideaswill genuinely matter. Some evening / weekend mahi comes with this opportunity becausethe best stories don’t always stick to business hours.
