Overview

Holiday Park Assistant role at Auckland Council – located at Orewa Beach Holiday Park.

Fixed term, full-time hours available with an immediate start.

Starting from $28.95 per hour based on experience and skills.

The role supports operations across the Holiday Parks portfolio as required.

Auckland Council's Parks & Community Service department has a fixed term full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join our team in the Holiday Park Assistant role at the Orewa Beach Holiday Park.

You will be working up to 40 hours per week, rostered over 7 days which may include 2 weekend days, morning shifts and late nights.

The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, with higher activity during the summer months.

Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and additional shifts is required.

The role also supports across other holiday parks as needed.

The role pays at $28.95 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Administrative duties

Welcoming guests

Processing online and in-person bookings

General cleaning duties

Ground and gardening maintenance

You should be confident with administration and reception duties and have experience with cash handling.

You should be able to use initiative to resolve operational and maintenance issues as they arise.

We are looking for people who have :

Administrative / reception experience

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Flexibility to work rosters (including public holidays)

Enthusiastic and approachable demeanour with a customer-focused approach
