Wainuiomata High School is seeking a dynamic and visionary teacher to join our team as leader of learning for our physical education and health faculty. This role provides an exciting opportunity to set the course for PE and health education.

  • Lead and inspire the PE and Health department, driving innovative teaching and curriculum development.
  • Create a student-centered learning environment that prioritizes well-being, personal growth, and lifelong skills.

  • About you

  • A qualified NZ registered teacher with experience in PE and Health education.
  • An experienced leader who can inspire and motivate a team.
  • Forward-thinking, with the ability to challenge traditional educational practices.
  • A strong advocate for student well-being, personal development, and holistic learning.
  • This is a full-time permanent position, starting in term 1, 2026 . Salary is based on the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement, according to qualifications and experience.
