Kaituitui Taiwhenua | Rural Coordinator (Rotorua)
We are seeking a Kaituitui Taiwhenua | Rural Coordinator based in Rotorua
So that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting Māori from our past, present and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa, guardian, support and advancer of the mana of Māori land everywhere.
As a key support to the Rural team, you'll help manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, ensuring the whenua under Te Tumu Paeroa's care meets all regulatory standards. But this role goes beyond compliance — you'll be at the heart of planning and delivering impactful whenua and property asset projects that make a real difference.
You'll also be instrumental in supporting the identification whenua use and development opportunities, helping to unlock the full potential of whenua. With a strong focus on excellence in service delivery, this is your chance to contribute to meaningful mahi that supports whānau, whenua, and the wider community.
This role requires some travel and occasional weekend work.
