Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
As Head of Sustainability, you'll lead our Sustainability Team and drive NZ Post's enterprise sustainability targets, with a strong focus on carbon emissions reduction. You'll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the organisation to embed sustainability principles into decision-making and deliver initiatives that matter for Aotearoa. Reporting to the Chief Governance and Sustainability Officer, you'll influence at all levels, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure robust governance and reporting frameworks are in place.
Mōu - About You
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have proven experience within corporate sustainability or environmental leadership roles, ideally gained within a large complex organisation. Your super powers will include strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop credible roadmaps, and lead a high performing team. You will be able to clearly articulate exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, experience managing teams and delivering on targets and budgets, plus carbon literacy and knowledge of sustainability best practice frameworks.
