Bar Attendant

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Attendant to help in our venue at Dropping Inn alongside the Assistant or Venue Manager.The successful candidate will be a seasoned hospitality professional with a proven track record in hospitality and a deep understanding of the elements that contribute to a successful hospitality business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests, building and leading a motivated team, and contributing to the overall success of the business.The ability to work together as a team is essential, so we are looking for a true team player, someone who gets hospitality and understands the importance of delighting customers.We are an accredited employer, so we can support applicants wanting to stay in NZ longer, and to transfer from a Working Holiday Visa to an Approved Employer Work Visa.We also can transfer visas but we are not looking to sponsor anyone from outside of New Zealand.ResponsibilitiesCustomer ExperienceEnsure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by consistently meeting and exceeding guest expectations.Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience and drive repeat business.Address customer feedback promptly and effectively.Marketing and PromotionsCollaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and events.Contribute ideas to enhance business's visibility within the local community.Operational ManagementHelp oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service alongside the rest of the teamImplement and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development.ExperienceMinimum one year proven experience within the hospitality industry.Strong understanding of bar operations.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive guest experience.Knowledge of local market trends and competition in the hospitality industry.Personal AttributesLeadership and organisation skillsCritical thinkingHospo experience in fast paced environmentPersonal customer experienceAvailable long termCurrently on NZ working VisaIf you are a hospitality professional looking for a new challenge where you can contribute to the success of a business, we invite you to apply.
