Join us as a Civil Structures Foreperson in Christchurch!

As a Foreperson in our Civil team, you will lead a crew to deliver work safety, on time and to the highest quality standard. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations, including the coordination of all employees, plant resources and subcontract personnel in your area of control.

In a

ddition to the above you will :

Ensure your team adheres to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Coordinate, plan, and organise plant, labour and subcontractors to ensure the effective delivery of projects.

Maximise daily productivity of your team while ensuring a high quality of work.

Foster a safe work environment by educating site workers on construction safety regulations and emergency procedures.

We're

looking for someone with :

A Minimum of 5 years' experience in the civil construction industry or similar.

Full clean class 1 licence and WTR endorsements.

A background in retaining structures, formwork, temporary works, civil construction, reinforced concrete and / or timber.

Sound knowledge of building and construction safety regulations.

A proactive approach to health and safety – it's our #1 priority!

Outstanding leadership skills, with proven experience supervising and leading crews.

The ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
