Workshop Supervisor

OneStaff is currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Supervisor on behalf of our client based in New Plymouth. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a busy and well-established mechanical workshop specialising in hydraulics, diesel parts, and machinery.

About the Role

In this position, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations and staff, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You'll manage workflow, support your team, and maintain strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity within a hydraulics and diesel repair environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities
• Manage job cards and workflow in an efficient and accurate manner
• Prepare quotes and estimates, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
• Run toolbox meetings and complete required documentation
• Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Liaise with suppliers to source parts and services as required
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance across the workshop
• Motivate and support the team to achieve targets and maintain a positive work environment
