Job Description

Step into a pivotal leadership role as our Digital Learning Lead and help shape the future of learning experiences across the Co-op. Reporting to the Head of Capability Design, this position sits at the heart of digital innovation—designing learning solutions that are high-impact, user-centred, and deeply engaging.

You’ll guide the online learning approach across projects and mentor digital designers to deliver outstanding, fit-for-purpose content and experiences. You’ll be involved from the early stages of discovery and design, ensuring digital opportunities are explored and integrated seamlessly.

This role demands well-rounded design capabilities, particularly in interactive formats such as scenario-based learning. A strong foundation in visual design principles - typography, layout, colour theory, and composition - along with a solid understanding of UX / UI design for immersive digital experiences like elearning.

Responsibilities

  • Design learning solutions that are high-impact, user-centred, and deeply engaging
  • Mentor digital designers to deliver outstanding, fit-for-purpose content and experiences
  • Guide the online learning approach across projects

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in design, digital media, education technology, communication, or a related field
  • Strong capability in user experience design, visual design, and digital learning development across a range of formats
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic design conversations, identifying digital opportunities and constraints early in projects
