Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll Executive

The Accounts Payable and Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounts payable functions and ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee payroll. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Handle the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice verification, matching, and posting.
  • Ensure all invoices are properly authorized.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, cheques, and online fund transfers.
  • Reconcile suppliers’ statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain proper filing of invoices, payment documents, and supplier records.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments on payment‑related matters.
  • Assist in month‑end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliation.

Payroll

  • Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Compute salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and commissions accurately.
  • Ensure timely submission and payment of CPF, income tax (IR8A), SDL, and other statutory contributions.
  • Maintain employee records and handle payroll queries confidentially.
  • Generate payroll and HR‑related reports as required.
  • Support HR in handling leave records, claims, and other employee benefits administration.
  • Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounts payable and payroll functions.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, InfoTech and Xero would be advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS, MOM).
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to put in extra effort and go the extra mile to support company goals and growth.
