Applications are also open to overseas trained doctors with an equivalent qualification.Our fellowship positions are 12-month fixed term positions.
They offer Anaesthesia training at a senior level whilst developing an area of special interest / sub-specialty.They include opportunities for professional development to facilitate completion of specialist training and preparation to becoming vocationally registered and a practicing Anaesthetist.This may include developing and leading the teaching of the junior medical staff, assistance with their training and roster co-ordination, audit and guideline development.Malignant HyperthermiaWe have recently expanded our theatre complex to 9 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms plus use of a theatre at our private hospital.
Our team currently comprises of 26 specialist anaesthetists, 9 registrars and 2 introductory trainees.
We currently operate 2 separate on-call rosters for anaesthesia and intensive care.
Successful applicants will contribute to the anaesthesia on call roster with a dedicated anaesthetist available to assist, offer advice if needed.
This is a great opportunity to step up to consultant level with support immediately available when required.Our team cover almost all sub-specialties (except neurosurgery and cardiac surgery) which will allow successful applicants to participate in thefull spectrum of anaesthesia servicesprovided by the department.What can we offer you?
