As an Indoor Plant Technician, you will be responsible for the essential maintenance and replacement of interior plants at our customer locations in Auckland CBD.

Key Responsibilities
Load and unload the service vehicle while ensuring the safe delivery of plants
Install, maintain, and care for indoor plants according to customer specifications
Perform routine plant maintenance, including watering, pruning, cleaning, pest management, rotation, and fertilising
Assess plant health and recommend care or replacement of plants as necessary
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding plant care
Educate clients on care and maintenance of indoor plants to ensure longevity and health
Regularly monitor and report on the condition of plants to ensure optimal growth and appearance
Complete service reports to document tasks performed
Ensure all safety and health regulations are followed during the maintenance and installation of plants
Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field
Strong knowledge of indoor plant care and environmental requirements for various species
Detail-oriented with the ability to assess and diagnose plant health issues
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and relationship building
Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting and moving plants
A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow strict and evolving health & safety procedures
Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand
Class 1 Full NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record
A clean criminal record
Comfortable working independently in the field, while also having a "one team" mindset
Willingness to long distances, navigate through traffic, parking, and challenging locations
High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets
Confident using a mobile phone service app and devices
Willingness to learn and grow within the company while embracing our core values
