Role – Account Manager, Care (Field sales)
Reporting to our Sector Lead of Care, you will manage a portfolio of customers within Tamaki Makaurau supporting the Care sector (including Aged Care facilities, Te Whatu Ora, Hospitals, and other health care providers).
Using our showroom in Highbroo, you will grow share of wallet by identifying new opportunities within our solutions range to benefit your customer's needs; partner with customers to understand their pain points and then provide advice to influence their decision making processes and ultimately win the sale.

Key Responsibilities
Account management and customer retention through account planning, prompt and professional resolution of issues and deepening of long-term relationships and loyalty.
Develop leads and capture new account opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and prospecting via relationship networks, market intelligence and key customer contacts.
Shape bid, RFP, presentation and contract renewal processes with Sales Operations and the Sales Manager to achieve win-win outcomes.
Negotiate terms of trade and SLA negotiations with customers based on financial analysis, commercial insight, and OfficeMax's sector sales strategy.
Work with the Sales Manager and other parts of OfficeMax to assess ROI and contribute insights to new product development.
Manage allocated categories to optimise sales, provide solutions for customer needs (e.g. new, compliant or specialist products) and share category knowledge with wider sales team.
Ensure all pipeline and customer information and activity is up to date in Salesforce.
Deliver key project requirements (e.g. Back to School) and ensure customers can access accurate information and advice on relevant categories & products.
Liaise with Sales Operations teams to ensure sales data, pricing, quotations, catalogues, sales collateral and other requirements are met.
Qualifications & Experience
3-5 years Business to Business sales experience.
Experience working in the health care sector is essential.
Successful record of gaining new business and customers.
Demonstrated experience in supplier and customer negotiations.
Track record of working in matrix team structures.
Commercial, logistics and problem-solving skills.
