We’re looking for a Corrections Clinical Lead to guide and inspire a talented team working across South and Central Auckland. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support and grow a dedicated group of practitioners delivering transformative work within corrections environments.
What you’ll do :
- Lead, coach, and empower AOD, Peer Support, and Wairua / Rongo’a Practitioners
- Deliver assessments, brief interventions, and group programmes with care and integrity
- Champion Te Ao Māori values and trauma-informed, restorative practice
- Collaborate closely with Corrections and Mahitahi Trust to ensure seamless, person-centred care
- Drive quality improvement, service design, and clinical excellence across the service
What you’ll bring :
Clinical registration and proven experience in addiction or mental health practiceStrong leadership capability with a genuine passion for supporting others to thriveA deep understanding of Te Ao Māori , or a sincere commitment to learning and integrating Māori worldviews into your practiceConfidence managing relationships, working across sites, and leading with empathy and professionalismDay use of a pool car is provided for travel between South and Central Auckland sites.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has a solid clinical foundation, and believes in the power of culturally grounded, restorative care.
