Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is the country's largest employer, delivering universal public healthcare to 5 million New Zealanders.
We provide essential hospital, specialist, and community health services across 80+ locations - from large urban centres to rural towns and remote communities.
Our goal is to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders by delivering equitable, accessible and innovative care.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to lead core business management and reporting to ensure the performance reporting, risk functions, and briefings for P&C are robust, responsive and high quality. About you
With more than 8 years' experience developing and advising on complex operational policy, you bring a strong understanding of what it takes to design and implement important initiatives. Building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is a natural part of your approach, and you communicate confidently, producing high-quality documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
You have solid working knowledge of public sector processes, including experience providing advice to Ministers. Your understanding of the machinery of government, along with strong political awareness, enables you to navigate complex issues and anticipate what matters most to stakeholders and the Government of the day.
Your analytical skills are well developed, with the ability to collect, interpret and distil raw data into meaningful insights that support sound analysis and reporting.
