ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands on role assisting both Import and Export Operations along with supporting the Customs Broker. You will be leading a team of four and you will be looking to develop and nurture their growth. You will have both Import and Export Operations experience within the Freight Forwarding industry and have lead teams in the past. You will also be required to travel to Auckland for the role on the odd occasion and even as far as Australia further down the track.
The role also requires you to be on call and from time to time you may have to work the odd weekend when it is busy. You will get this time back during the week, so they are very flexible with this.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidates will have been in the freight forwarding industry for quite a number of years and have gained a good understanding of the industry and have team leadership experience already. along with the below attributes;
