CNC Machine Operators / Setter & Programmers

We are wanting to speak to CNC Machine Operators / Setter & Programmers looking for a new role.

With the scope of working on a variety of products spanning a wide range of sectors you will have the chance to really build on your skills and knowledge within the CNC world!

THE ROLE - CNC Machine Operators / Setter & Programmers

  • Set‑up and manage CNC machines (mills or lathes) to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling and modify where necessary
  • Setting & Programme the machines (on and offline when required)
  • Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
  • Record all machine actions by completing production and quality checks and completed quality logs
  • Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
  • ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working on CNC mills or lathes, (4 & 5 axis machines as well as manual machines - & on Okuma machines preferred)
  • Programme the machines (on and offline programming required)
  • Previous experience using Mazatrol controls (bonus points if you can use G / M Code too)
  • Worked with metals on cnc machines
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Worked with Fusion360 is the CADCAM system used.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Time management and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Must have at least 2 years CNC machine operator setter / programming experience.

    Hourly pay starting from $30+

    (The more skilled and experienced, the higher the hourly rate)
