Job description

(a) Without limiting any other obligation under this Agreement, the Supplier must, in

relation to the exterior of Vehicles, perform the following tasks :

  • wash exterior of vehicle, including aerial, wheel arches and skirtings;
  • thoroughly brush all road wheels to remove staining;
  • ensure that all windows and mirrors, including sunroofs to be cleaned so they

are streak free;

  • chamois exterior, including door seals, boot shuts and glasswork;
  • extend any retracted aerials;
  • ensure that once cleaned all vehicles are to parked in the allocated spaces

    • within the Business Premises; and

  • ensure that vehicles will be chamoised as soon as they are parked in a space

    • and not be allowed to dry and then be chamoised later on.

  • vacuum all foot wells, door pockets, seat pockets and boot area - should be no

    • visible dirt, dust and litter;

  • clean floor / door sills so that there is no visible dirt, dust and litter;
  • vacuum all seats and clean to ensure free of dirt, dust and litter;
  • check that floor mats are present, clean and not wet;
  • chamois down dashboard, centre console, back ledge, cup-holders with warm

    • water to ensure free of dirt, dust and litter;

  • wash all ashtrays;
  • clean and polish all interior glasswork, mirrors, dashboard gauges and sun
  • ensure that radio has preset stations tuned, including that there is an easy

    • listening station with the volume down and switched off;

  • check that internal lights are in good working order;
  • check that seat belts are in good working order (not torn or Damaged);
  • clip all rear seat belts;
  • return front seats to a fully extended position;
  • check the glove box for litter;
  • set the trip meter to zero;
  • check the clock time and reset to the correct time if it is incorrect;
  • spray the car interior with air freshener;
  • check that cigarette lighter / power outlet is in good working order;
  • check that window, door locks and remote controls are in good working order;
  • check that the vehicle registration label is readable and current;
  • check that any writing on the key tags is clearly and correctly; and
  • insert any current Europcar literature as required.
