Christmas Team Member (Shopfloor / Checkout) - The Warehouse, Feilding

Overview

The Warehouse is the home of Christmas, a destination for our customers to find everything they need for an affordable and special Christmas.

We're looking for fixed-term seasonal Team Members to join us.

Start dates vary from mid-September to mid-November and you'll be with us until around mid-January.

Many of our Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be your stepping stone for longer term and wider opportunities!

Role

On the shopfloor, you'll help customers find everything they need for a special Christmas, whether it's reaching a toy on the top shelf or pointing them to the right aisle.

You'll also support merchandising displays and work alongside our Night Fill elves to keep shelves stocked and sparkling.

At checkouts, you'll be the friendly face that helps customers wrap up their Christmas shopping.

From scanning gifts to packing bags with care, you'll make every transaction count.

You'll keep the front of house looking inviting, making sure last-minute stocking fillers are well-stocked.

It's all about creating a great in-store customer experience!

Responsibilities

Help customers on the shopfloor and at checkouts

Assist with locating products and directing customers to the right aisles

Support merchandising displays and keep shelves stocked and bright

Wrap up customer purchases at checkouts and ensure a smooth transaction

Maintain inviting store presentation and ensure stocking is up-to-date

Qualifications

Be ready to be on your feet, helping customers and keeping things moving

Show up, take initiative, and work well independently and in a team

Retail experience is a plus, but attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves matter

Understanding of great customer service

Strong availability throughout December and over public holidays
