We are looking for an exceptional English teacher to join our collaborative, collegial, and diverse English learning area on a fixed term basis. Experience teaching English to culturally and / or linguistically diverse learners is advantageous. Suitable candidates will have experience teaching Junior English and NCEA English. To serve in our kura you must be a relational and student-centred practitioner who demonstrates effective classroom practice. We are looking for someone with a commitment to equity, strong culturally sustaining pedagogy and knowledge of the evolving NZ Curriculum.

For overseas teachers looking to relocate to New Zealand to teach, the terms and conditions including base salary for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,305 to $95,400 depending on applicants qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
