Branding liquor limited T / A Indian Dreams is a well-established Indian restaurant located in Rolleston and Linwood, known for its authentic North-Indian cuisine, attentive service, and welcoming family-friendly environment.
We are proud to serve both local residents and visitors from across Canterbury and are now seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house and overall operations.
Following are the duties, you need to perform :
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and supervise team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Liaise with chefs regarding menu planning, seasonal changes, and quality control.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with food-safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
- Oversee stock management and supplier coordination.
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
- Coordinate private functions, takeaway, and catering orders.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase local engagement.
- Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative workplace culture.

You will need the following skills :
Must hold a relevant qualification OR at least 2-3 years’ relevant work experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.Sound understanding of restaurant operations, customer-service principles, and stock control.Strong organisational, financial, and communication skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.Must have a clean criminal record and pass pre-employment checks.Must have clean criminal historyYou must pass pre-employment checks if required.Why Join Us
