Freelance Video Editor – Comedy Reels

You will be responsible for editing short-form videos that capture attention, deliver laughs, and keep viewers coming back for more. The project involves ongoing collaboration, with 1–2 Reels required per week, and offers the chance to contribute to a personal brand with a modern, expressive style.

Responsibilities

• Edit 1–2 short-form Reels per week, ensuring each video is funny, engaging, and visually dynamic
• Apply creative transitions, trending sound effects, and modern editing techniques (CapCut-style, etc.)
• Add accurate, engaging subtitles and captions that enhance the humor and storytelling
• Maintain strong timing for jokes, expressive reactions, and a fast-paced rhythm
• Collaborate with the content creator to refine concepts and deliver final edits ready for social media
• Stay updated on current social media trends and incorporate them into edits
