About the Role
We are seeking a Team Coordinator to join our Ward Administration Team which supports a patient’s journey from pre‑admission through to discharge.
The Team Co‑ordinator takes an organisational view and ensures that all processes are standardised across all wards. With their Team Leader, they coordinate the team and ensures that ward administration staff provide a customer focused, efficient service to patients, relatives and clinical teams.
This is a full‑time position, fixed‑term to January 2027. The full salary range is $78,614 - $89,491 per annum.

The Ward Administration Team Co‑ordinator position sits within the Patient Administration Service (PAS). There are six teams within PAS who collectively manage the provision of a centralised administration service to clinical areas covering reception, outpatients, wards and the call centre.
The Ward Administration Team is responsible for managing the validation of patient information, the admission and discharge process as well as general enquiries relating to patients in the wards. Our team also liaise with clinical staff to ensure that patient throughput is managed effectively, and administration support is provided promptly. Our work is significant because we are pivotal to the day‑to‑day running of the ward.
About you
You will be able to deal with ambiguity, working in an everchanging environment and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. Supervisory experience is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. It is important you have excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate with members of the team or the public - including those who are distressed or angry.
