  • About the Role
  • We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Programme Coordinator you'll be at the heart of our projects, making sure plans translate into real outcomesand the successful delivery of health infrastructure projects across the Central Region.As our Programme Coordinator, you'll provide essential coordination and administrative support to project and programme managers, helping to keep multiple initiatives running smoothly and on track.Your day will be full of variety and impact as you bring order to complexity by managing project documentation that keeps everyone aligned, act as the connector by coordinating meetings, communications, and updates so teams stay focused and engaged, keep progress visible by tracking milestones, risks, and budgets to ensure projects stay on course, support smart decisions through resource planning and vendor engagement that make delivery seamless, and champion clarity by ensuring all documentation is consistent, accessible, and easy to use.This is a role where organisation meets influence, you'll not only keep projects on track, but also help shape how our teams work together, celebrate wins, and deliver results that matter.In addition, you will provide secretariat support as required, helping to establish governance groups across the region and ensuring they operate effectively.

  • The IIG Central team are focused on delivering high impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system within region and with alignment across the motu.Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, the team understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.

  • You will bring :
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification and / or at least 5 years' proven experience in senior administration or client / customer support roles
  • Proven experience supporting multiple stakeholders and managing complex schedules and diaries
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in processing and monitoring vendor payments
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in a professional context
  • Experience coordinating projects and familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Working for Health New Zealand
