DUNEDIN SITE BASED ROLE

THE ROLE

This is your chance as a proven Facilities Planning and Process Optimisation Engineer, to take a greenfield site & set it up to run in the most efficient manner. Working under the Engineering & RD Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and continuous improvement of the new production and warehousing facilities. Use your experience to lead optimization of workflows to increase efficiency, throughput, and safety.

The role combines facilities planning, process optimization, and lean principles to ensure facility development and operational processes align with business goals, operational efficiency, and long-term growth strategy.

THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field
• Min. 6 yrs experience in industrial / manufacturing
• Proven success in Project Management & CI
• Proficiency in process mapping, RCA & production planning
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
• Experience with CAD software / facility layout planning tools
• Professional communication & reporting skills
• New Zealand work rights / Visa / Citizenship
