Our Statutory Entities & Appointments team is seeking an experienced, talented and motivated Portfolio Lead, Performance Monitoring to join the team based in Wellington.
Reporting to the Manager, Statutory Entities and Appointments, this role will be pivotal in supporting the Crown's relationship with Maori through effective entity monitoring and performance oversight.
Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity
Portfolio Lead, Performance Monitoring will lead the performance monitoring workstream for Te Puni Kokiri and will take a hands-on approach to monitoring the diverse range of statutory entities within the Maori Development portfolio.
This role will be responsible for the provision of analysis and reporting on entity performance, as well as provision of advice to entities and the Minister on ensuring entities are positioned to deliver strategically.
The ability to read a balance sheet and prepare budget bids will go hand in hand with the necessary relationship management skills to engage with entity management from time to time.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence Maori development and Crown-Maori relations through strategic leadership and operational excellence.
Appointable salary range between $123,317-$137,018 (100%) will be provided commensurate with skills and experience.
