Job Information

New to Virtua hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,500 with a one-year commitment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with on-call services required.

Summary

The Technologist coordinates daily activities within the Interventional Radiology department, performs diagnostic procedures following approved techniques and safety limits, and supports Virtua's mission and values.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform all Interventional Radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, maintaining sterile environments and practicing radiation safety.
• Use radiographic equipment and hospital computer systems effectively, including RIS, PACS, and others.
• Provide accurate documentation, review medical information, and verify physician orders.
• Assist in training new staff or students and manage inventory levels for supplies.
