This is a unique serious injury client situation, where you will be part of a dedicated team supporting a young man living in South Wairarapa.
You will work in the home, at school, and in the community, supporting with care needs and daily living activities.
Shifts available :
Morning / day shift : 7 : 00 am – 4 : 00 pm (includes supporting the client at school)
Wakeover night shift : 8 : 30 pm – 7 : 00 am
This role requires a younger-minded approach, as the client would like someone closer in age who can better connect socially.
You will also need to be comfortable working around dogs on a farm property.
A full driver's licence is essential, as you will be required to drive the mobility van.

Our Kaiawhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.

Genuinely love working with people who need support and seeing them thrive
Experience in a similar role and has a healthcare qualification
Be intuitive and responsive to people's feelings and needs
Be comfortable supporting a young person at school and in the community
Hold a full driver's licence and be confident driving a mobility van
Own a smartphone
Have the right to work in New Zealand
