Senior Identity Specialist (Privileged Access Management)

Contract to 20 / 12 / 2026| Newstead + WFH

We’re working with a leading Queensland government client to recruit an experienced Senior Identity Specialist (Privileged Access Management). In this role you will be responsible for the operation and support of identity technologies within the client’s Digital Environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Contribute expertise to security events by developing security procedures for CyberArk Privileged Cloud, ensuring compliance with regulations & standards.
Support integration of CyberArk PAM platform into SailPoint IGA & IAM domains following best practice & security standards.
Implement digital identity capabilities through hands-on CyberArk PAM configuration.
Act as technical authority for identity technology implementation.
Monitor and maintain the CyberArk Privileged Cloud health, performance, and security, handle issues promptly, investigate and resolve incidents with minimal disruption. Conduct post-incident reviews, document lessons learned and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address problems needing external support.
Offer technical leadership and mentorship to identity engineers, promote continuous learning and innovation. Stay updated on CyberArk Privileged Cloud developments, share knowledge and best practices.

What We’re Looking For :

8+ years working in the Identity domain as an architect, engineer, and / or technical lead across IGA, IAM, and PAM domains, aligning with best practice and security standards.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in end-to-end implementations of CyberArk Privileged Cloud solutions, ideally with experience of multiple implementations (CyberArk Sentry certification is highly desirable).

Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting the following CyberArk modules at minimum : Secure Cloud Access (SCA), Secure Infrastructure Access (SIA), Endpoint Protection Manager (EPM), Workforce Password Management (WPM), Secure Web Sessions (SWS), Secrets Management, and CyberArk Remote Access.

Experience with implementing identity products within a large complex organisation and successfully transitioning them to operations (BAU)
