Overview

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) intends to procure with Tertiary Education Providers for the development of a postgraduate diploma programme for training the Associate Psychologist workforce. This training will reflect the skills, knowledge, attributes, and application relevant to psychological practice in health settings and mental health and addictions settings across various sectors, including kaupapa Māori services, primary and secondary MH&A services, and NGOs.

(The title Associate Psychologist, also referred to as Assistant Psychologist, is to be confirmed.)

The indicative release date that the buying agency expects for the procurement process to commence will be presented to suppliers by calendar quarter. Please note that the FPO will close on this date.

The buying agency has an intention to procure and is currently seeking approval to progress to the next phase of the project.
