Job description

The candidate should bring strong expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions across diverse industries including payroll, supply chain, banking, insurance, gaming, and public sector.

7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Proven success in industries such as :

Payroll (Holidays Act Remediation, PSE Payroll Systems)

Supply Chain (ERP / Infor upgrades)

Gaming & Wagering (Lotto NZ, Google Analytics 4, MyLotto app)

Banking & Insurance (Direct Transact, GPAA)

Public Sector & Education (Waste Management, University of Canterbury).

Qualifications

ISTQB Foundation Certification preferred.

Certified in Software Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Practical Software Testing preferred

Skills & Tools

Testing Tools : JIRA / Confluence, ADO, Zephyr, HP ALM, Postman, Katalon, TestFlight, Google Play Console, Enterprise Tester, DataSlayer.

Databases & Languages : SQL (MS SQL Server).

Methodologies : Agile (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps, Waterfall, Iterative, Data-Driven Testing.

Testing Types : System, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, UAT.

Competencies : Test management, defect management, test strategy & planning, requirement analysis.
