Quality Coordinator

Oji Fibre Solutions is one of NewZealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a widerange of industries throughout the country.Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packagingproducts to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

Our site based in Levin is seeking an experienced Quality coordinatorwho is passionate about Quality, enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environmentand enjoys the variety provided by working both in the office and theproduction floor.

Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager you will beresponsible for :

• Ensuring the quality of our packaging issuperior when it comes off the production line by supporting the Quality& Compliance Manager and filling in as 2IC when required
• Maintaining Quality management systems inaccordance with industry standards ISO 9001, 22000
• Maintaining site compliance with allregulatory and customer specific quality requirements
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control : Implement and maintain testing, quality assurance and food safetyprocesses and procedures, conduct regular inspections of raw materials,in-process items and finished products, perform audits of productionprocesses to ensure adherence to SOP’s, quality standards and food safetyregulations, manage quarantine / rework area, management of DWR internaldefects system, managing of new colour matchings and swatch creation viaink maker software
• Documentation & Reporting – maintain allrecords
• Continuous improvement – experience with SixSigma methodologies and a genuine desire to identify areas of improvementand work alongside the production team to implement
